PORT AUTHORITY OF NEW YORK & NEW JERSEY On-Call SUE Services Geotrack has maintained this contract since 1995. The scope includes designating and locating of Port Authorityowned utilities at all PA sites, including the three major metropolitan area airports, as well Port Newark (numerous working piers and high volume unloading facilities), the various bridge and tunnel crossings, and the Teleport. In addition, Geotrack provides utility markouts in response to the New York and New Jersey One Call requests requiring field investigation and utility designation. Geotrack has also vacuum excavated test holes at several of the Ports locations in order to provide utility depth and condition. Geotracks office and field staff have become familiar with the Ports personnel and underground facilities over the last five years, which has enabled us to provide a high quality product in both a cost-effective and timely fashion. We have worked very closely with the Ports designated representatives, and have developed excellent working relationships throughout the organization. Our field personnel are eminently familiar with the inner working of major airport facilities, including operations, security, construction and access issues. We have also developed excellent working relationships with many of the Ports tenants and other consultants and contractors, including construction managers, surveyors, and construction firms. GEOD CORPORATION New York Power Authoritys Polletti Power Plant, Astoria, NY Geotrack has completed several projects for GEOD Corporation at New York Power Authoritys Poletti Power Plant in Astoria, New York. This work included surface designation and vacuum excavation of approximately sixty test holes on power plant property. The work was not only to provide accurate locations of existing utility lines, but also to facilitate clearance requirements for installation of high voltage electrical duct banks. NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION Route 23/46/80 Improvements As a subconsultant to Vollmer, Geotrack was responsible for the surface designation and vacuum excavation relative to Route 23/46/80 Interchange Improvements in Wayne Township, NJ. Geotrack successfully excavated twenty test holes on fiber optic, water, gas and electric facilities within this high traffic volume interchange. NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION DOWNSTATE REGIONS Subsurface Utility Engineering Contract Geotrack has completed numerous projects within the scope of the contract, whose aggregate value was approximately $1,000,000. Our work has involved the designation and location of all underground utilities for such projects as the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway Connector Ramp to the Williamsburg Bridge, Long Island Expressway Improvements, Route 9 (Beacon), Route 94 Reconstruction and Belt Parkway Access Road Improvements. The areas covered by this contract included, but were not limited to, New York City, Poughkeepsie, Long Island, and Westchester County. WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREA TRANSIT AUTHORITY Rapid Transit System As a subconsultant to Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers, Geotrack was responsible for locating underground utilities along this 3.5-mile expansion of the Rapid Transit System. Geotrack provided all surveying and CADD utility services, which consisted of approximately 200,000 linear feet of various utilities. Work along this 400' wide congested corridor was very difficult in that private parties, the State of Maryland Department of Transportation, and Prince Georges County owned right-of-way. In addition to the designating work, Geotrack also excavated thirty test holes. DULLES TOLL ROAD From I-495 to VA Route 28 in Fairfax, Virginia As a sub-consultant to BDE, Inc., who provided surveying for the project, Geotrack supported this effort by locating underground utilities along this 12.5-mile stretch of Dulles Toll Road. Geotrack provided all surveying and CADD services on this project, which consisted of approximately 225,000 linear feet of various utilities. The project scope covered a fairly congested corridor, 800' in width, that included rights-of-way owned by both VDOT and the Federal Aviation Administration. In addition to the relevant experience listed above, Geotrack has successfully completed numerous projects as a sub-consultant for the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Our client list for such projects includes Parsons-Brinckerhoff, F. R. Harris, Inc., T & M Associates and Michael Baker, Inc. We have also done work for several major utilities in the Northeast, either as a prime or sub-consultant, including Lucent Technologies, Public Service Electric and Gas, Con Edison and New Jersey Natural Gas. The scopes of these projects have covered all facets of Subsurface Utility Engineering, and have included such facilities as wastewater treatment plants, power generation stations, process/manufacturing plants, business/college campuses and correctional facilities.
